COURSE DESCRIPTION

This 3-day meeting is designed to provide up-to-date practice management, clinical best practices, and quality improvement for healthcare providers. The curriculum includes lectures, interactive workshops, and opportunities to discuss issues with experts.

GENERAL SESSION LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Participants will be able to assess and utilize best practices to:
•   Assess the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients who present with a number of conditions, including toxicology, fractures and sprains, pain management, burns, concussion, radiology, seizures, dental emergencies, disaster preparedness, and dermatology
•   Incorporate care plans into practice including updates and changes in protocols for diagnosis and treatment
•   Optimize the physician-patient experience

ACCREDITATION - GENERAL SESSION

Seattle Children’s is accredited by the Washington State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Seattle Children’s designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 14 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This activity meets the criteria for up to 14 hours of Category I CME credit to satisfy the relicensure requirements of the Washington State Medical Quality Assurance Commission.
