Bio
Dr. Montalbano is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics for the University of Missouri-Kansas City, the Director of Scholarly Activities for the Division of Urgent Care, and Medical Director of Patient and Family Engagement at Children's Mercy Kansas City. Graduating with both a Masters in Public Health and Medical Doctorate degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, she completed her pediatric residency in Omaha, Nebraska. She is the leading researcher in pediatric urgent care and serves as the Chair of Research for SPUC. Over the past 7 years she has created a national longitudinal database for pediatric urgent care. The Organization for Urgent Care Health database includes administrative, operational, and clinical data for over 1/3 of all pediatric urgent cares nationally. This year reveals the staffing and salary data available to members via a partnership with ECG.
