Ilanalee Cabrera MSN RN CPNP
Clinical Practice Leader, Urgent Care
Children's Wisconsin
Milwaukee WI

Bio

I have been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for 16 years. During that time, I have worked mainly in Pediatric Liver Transplantation in Chicago and Pediatric Urgent Care in Milwaukee. About two years ago, I moved into the role of Clinical Practice Leader within Urgent Care. In this role, I began holding regularly scheduled emergency simulations for all staff. Soon thereafter, skills stations were added to these sessions. It became clear that staff felt the simulations and skills stations were beneficial. To evaluate the effectiveness of the simulations, participants completed pre and post simulation Likert scale surveys. That data will be included in this poster presentation.
