Dr. Anastasia Gentles is the Specialty Medical Officer of the Acute Care Division for Mednax National Medical Group. She is the co-founder of NightLight Pediatric Urgent Care, the first Urgent care exclusively for kids in the Houston area. Founded in 2007, Nightlight now operates out of 8 clinics and is one of only a few Pediatric Urgent cares in the Nation. She received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego and completed her Pediatric training at Children’s Hospital Oakland now UCSF Banioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland, CA. Prior to forming NightLight, Dr. Gentles was an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, and a Physician at Texas Children’s Pediatric Associates in Houston.
