Bio
A professional humorist as well as a critical care and trauma nursing specialist will keynote the Saturday, Oct.6, session of the SPUC Fall Conference in Orlando. Terry Foster of St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Kentucky, is an LPN graduate of Booth Memorial Hospital School of Practical Nursing, an RN graduate of the Christ Hospital School of Nursing, and holds a Master's Degree in Critical Care and Trauma Nursing from the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing and Health. He’s given more than 5,000 formal presentations across all fifty states on subjects including nursing humor and clinical nursing topics. Foster has performed at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas and Trump Tower in Atlantic City, as well as at local comedy venues around the Cincinnati area. And he has been featured in nine episodes of the cable channel TLC’s “Untold Stories of the ER,” the first RN to be featured on the program. He’s a past recipient of the Judith Kelleher award, the highest honor of the national Emergency Nurses Association.
